How do I care for my Eastman?
Eastman guitars and mandolins are built with tone as our #1 priority. Here are a few suggestions to follow:
1. Use a simple hygrometer / humidifier to ensure proper and consistent humidity (can be purchased at most music stores)
2. Keep the instrument stored in the case if not played for extended periods of time
3. Keep the instrument out of extreme changes of climate or temperature.
4. Do not use stands or hangers made of rubber. The nitrocellulose finish reacts with the rubber and WILL cause blemishes.
5. Clean the instrument with a small amount of standard guitar polish and a soft microfiber cloth.
